The blue taxis, traditional in transporting passengers from the José María Córdova International Airport to the metropolitan area of Medellín, updated their rates for the year 2024, starting on February 20.
Now, for those travelers heading from the airport to the city of Medellín, the rate will be $110,000. Services to other nearby municipalities have also seen adjustments in their prices: $115,000 for trips to Envigado, and $120,000 for destinations such as Sabaneta, Itagüí and the municipality of Bello.
These rates apply to tours that begin at the José María Córdova Airport, located in Rionegro, and are considered the basic prices within the metropolitan area. However, trips to more distant municipalities such as Barbosa and Girardota may be subject to additional surcharges, depending on the distance.
With these new rates, the company seeks to adjust to the needs of the market and continue offering quality service to users.
YELLOW TAXIS FROM MEDELLÍN TO THE AIRPORT
For its part, the service between Medellín and José María Córdova airport in traditional yellow taxis has a value of $110,000, the same as from Envigado, Copacabana and Bello. From Sabaneta and Itagüí the value is $120,000, while from La Estrella it is $130,000
