Ivrea, grants up to 600 euros per month to non self-sufficient people

Extraordinary contributions for the economic fragility caused by the Covid crisis. Similar supports also to those who take care of a family member

IVREA. Two calls for a total of almost 200 thousand euros made available by the Inrete social services consortium to support family cargivers and non self-sufficient people who find themselves in a situation of economic fragility due to the Covid crisis. The first call, for a total of 90 thousand euros, is aimed at providing an economic contribution to support the care and assistance role of the family caregiver. The term caregiver means the person who assists and takes care of the spouse, of the other party to the civil partnership between persons of the same sex, of the de facto cohabitant or of a family member or a related person up to the second degree who, due to illness, infirmity or disability, is not self-sufficient. “The objective of this notice – explains Patrizia Merlo, director of the Inrete consortium – is to improve the quality of life by promoting a path of global care, centered on the person and their families”.

The economic contribution is paid in the form of a monthly allowance and the amount is determined on the basis of the ISEE. Caregiver of adults: 600 euros per month for 12 months with an Isee of up to 10 thousand euros; 500 euros per month for 12 months between 10,000.01 and 30 thousand euros; 400 euros per month, again for 12 months, between 30,000.01 and 50,000 euros. Same parameters for the caregivers of minors, with the exception of the contribution of 400 euros which is assigned with an Isee from 30.00.01 to 65 thousand euros. Beneficiaries do not need to reside at the same address as the dependent person.

The notice is published on the website of the Inrete consortium www.inrete.to.it where the forms for the submission of applications can also be downloaded (deadline September 30th of this year). The forms are also available in paper format at the headquarters of the Inrete consortium in Ivrea, in via Circonvallazione 54 / b, from Monday to Friday from 9 to 13.

The second call, for a total of 92,077 euros, is aimed at assigning an extraordinary economic contribution aimed at non self-sufficient people in situations of economic fragility awaiting a home service or insertion into a residential facility for which, during the period 01/03/20 –30/06/21, there has been a reduction in the assistance capacity of the family support network. Here, too, the contribution is assigned monthly for 12 months based on ISEE and disability. For adults, with severe disabilities, 400 euros per month with an Isee of up to 10 thousand euros; 350 euros with an ISEE between 10,000.01 and 20,000 euros; 300 euros between 20,000.01 and 50mial euros. Same parameters for minors with severe disabilities, with the exception of the contribution of 300 euros which is assigned with an Isee from 30.00.01 to 50 thousand euros. For adults with very serious disabilities 600 euros per month with an Isee up to 10 thousand euros; 500 euros per month with an ISEE between 10,000.01 and 30 thousand euros; 400 euros per month with an ISEE between 30,000.01 and 50,000 euros. Same parameters for minors with severe disabilitiesimi with the exception of the monthly contribution of 400 euros which is assigned to those who have an ISEE ranging from 30,000.01 to 65,000 euros. The deadline for submitting the application is July 31st. The ranking will be approved by approximately 31.08.2021, on the basis of the applications received.

“For this second call, if we do not have to assign all the resources available – specifies the director of Inrete Merlo – the notice will be re-proposed”. The assigned contribution will be effectively paid on the basis of the reporting of the expenses incurred in the previous month (professional services; family assistance; home services aimed at alleviating the burdens of care by the family; provision of meals, laundry services, cleaning interventions, hygiene ; transport for medical examinations and therapies).
