IVREA. It will have happened to everyone, walking around Ivrea, to come across numerous black boxes with two holes scattered in strategic points and wondering what they are for. These are traps for mice and crawling insects, 126 in total, which serve to prevent an invasion of unwanted animals in public and private places in the territory.
If in the city, especially in the summer season, there is no rat emergency, not even in the areas closest to the Dora Baltea, it is because every year the Municipality of Ivrea invests huge resources in disinfestation.
