ALEXANDRIA. “An unsustainable situation” that of the personnel of the Labor Inspectorate. The Federation of public workers and public functions has proclaimed a state of agitation to which the territorial coordinations of Alessandria and Asti have also joined.
A protest born of the “shortage of personnel – they explain – and the very serious and unprecedented exclusion of the personnel under the National Labor Inspectorate and Anpal from the administrative allowances, as a result of which the employees of the two instrumental agencies of the Ministry of Labor will not receive the increases foreseen by the draft of the Dpcm “. The Federation of Alessandria-Asti has joined the state of agitation proclaimed at national level by the trade unions and which consists in non-participation in the days of the extraordinary training plan, unavailability to use the vehicle and its own tools as well as the task force. Finally, the protest provides for a stop to overtime night work.
“The situation is now unsustainable – explains the Federation – and the workers are exhausted, considering that sometimes they are forced to use devices and other personal equipment (car, tablet, smartphone) to perform their duties, with enormous personal and family sacrifices” .
In addition to the protest in the territorial offices, a strike for the whole day of Friday 4 March is added, which will have to lead to the closure of the inspectorate offices. «This situation – they conclude in the trade unions – is provoking, once again, a retreat of the State in the face of the great problem of irregular work, tax evasion, illegal hiring and health in the workplace. All this in the inertia and total indifference of politics, which has already been interested in the problem for years ».
