In the next flow decree “if last year there were 70 thousand people, this year the numbers will be higher”. This was specified by the Minister of the Interior Luciana Lamorgese, in Venice at the end of Med5. «The Presidency of the Council is working – she specified – verifying the possibility of speeding up the procedures because there is a lack of staff in specific sectors. I remember the protocol of 10 days ago with the Ministry of Labor to include in the construction circuit those who are holders of international protection or whose practice is being examined. We are verifying a similar protocol for other categories ».
Agreement on the insertion of 3 thousand vulnerable migrants
Train refugees and other vulnerable migrants to work in the construction sector, in order to accompany their path towards autonomy and to support growth driven by Superbonus and Pnrr. The collaboration established between the government and the social partners aims at the socio-labor insertion of at least 3 thousand people, including applicants and holders of international or temporary protection, holders of special protection, unaccompanied foreign minors in transition to adulthood and former foreign minors unaccompanied (msna). The recipients, identified in the Extraordinary Reception Centers and in the Reception and Integration System, are included in the training courses of the construction schools, coordinated by the joint body Formedil and will gain experience in the field with internships to be carried out directly at the companies in the sector. Pilot interventions based on the activation of apprenticeship contracts are also envisaged for unaccompanied foreign minors and for those who have come of age in the meantime.
