Premier Li Qiang Urges Thorough Implementation of Production Safety Measures
In a recent national video and telephone conference on production safety, Premier Li Qiang emphasized the importance of implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions. The conference, held by the State Council, aimed to address the increasing number of production safety accidents as the Spring Festival approaches.
Premier Li Qiang expressed deep concern over the recent surge in production safety accidents, resulting in significant casualties. He urged all regions and departments to remain vigilant and overcome any complacency or fluke mentality. He stressed the need for powerful and targeted measures to ensure production safety, especially as various safety risks are on the rise with the approaching Spring Festival.
To address the issue, Premier Li Qiang called for a comprehensive investigation of hidden risks in production safety, focusing on rectifying risks around the masses, key industries, and key areas. He emphasized the importance of using daily inspections, special spot inspections, patrol inspections, and new technology to strengthen safety supervision and control.
Additionally, Premier Li Qiang urged the strict implementation of safety production responsibilities and the consolidation of enterprise responsibilities to improve the safety responsibility system. He emphasized the need for joint supervision and pragmatic measures to reverse the passive situation of safety production and consolidate the grassroots foundation.
