Gilberto Lissolo, for 37 years a worker in the Municipality of Vistrorio and now retired, was awarded a few days ago by the four mayors. The first citizens Giulio Borgo, Franco Torreano, Federico Steffenina and Domenico Ravetto, with whom he had to deal with during their respective mandates, paid homage to his commitment and dedication never failed during his years of service.
“Gilberto, a generous and capable person, has given a lot to our community in whose name I express total gratitude for his constant availability as well as for his altruism”, Domenico Ravetto underlined. Having reached retirement, “he will now be able to devote himself full time to his passions: the vineyard, travels and excursions in the mountains”. Gilberto Lissolo was also vice president of the Pro loco and for decades an active member of the association. Given that the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic had prevented the celebrations in his honor from being organized on the occasion of his retirement, which took place at the end of last year, Lissolo was celebrated in recent days, with the intervention, as well as the first citizens of yesterday and today, of councilors and municipal employees.
