(ANSA) – CUNEO, 06 AUGUST – The 65-year-old hiker who yesterday did not return from the summit of Nasta, in the Cuneo mountains of the Gesso Valley, was found dead.

The fire brigade helicopter located the body in a gully just below the summit, where his signature on the summit book was found. The doctor on board the Piedmontese Health Emergency helicopter was unable to do anything other than ascertain his death.

The mountain rescue, the financial police and the carabinieri also participated in the searches, taken last night after the alarm of the family who did not see him return.
