The Metropolitan Police of Neiva, in development of the “Holy Week in Family” Plan, achieves the seizure of fish in the city of Neiva.
Thus, as uniformed members of the Carabineros and Environmental Protection Section, in coordination with the Municipal Health Secretariat, during the execution of inspection, surveillance and control activities of hydrobiological products trading establishments, they carried out the seizure of more than 300 kilos of fish, which did not have the organoleptic conditions required for sale and human consumption.
For this reason, the products were left to the Municipal Health Secretary. Cwith the purpose of continuing with its denaturalization and final disposal process.
The National Police invites the community to take this into account when purchasing fish. That it has the conditions suitable for consumption, observing that:
● The galls have a reddish color. A dark or brown color indicates that it is in an advanced decomposition process.
● The fish inside cannot have bones detached.
● Your skin should be shiny and elastic.
● Your eyes should be bright in appearance.
