(ANSA) – AOSTA, 03 AUG – The French Philippe Genin – known as the ‘pianist of the peaks’ – has achieved a new feat by playing the piano on the summit of Gasherbrum 2, at 8,035 meters above sea level, in the Pakistani Karakorum. It is the highest concert in the world. “Splendid weather, without wind: I was able to play and sing three songs: Move Yourself (compo perso), Imagine and All You Need Is Love. It was truly incredible to get up there, a truly unforgettable moment of breathtaking beauty” he says on social media .
