In order to accurately and timely monitor and reflect the development and changes of our country’s population, and to provide a basic basis for the party and the government to formulate national economic and social development plans and population-related policies, the National Bureau of Statistics has decided to organize the development nationwide2021A sample survey of annual population changes. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
1. Survey scope: selected cities and villages in mainland China.
2. Investigation and registration objects: People with the nationality of the People’s Republic of China are selected from the houses in this community (village). The survey is conducted on a household basis, and both family households and collective households are investigated. The persons who should be registered in the household include:
1.People living in the household at the standard time of investigation;
2.People whose household registration is in the household but who do not live in the household at the time of the survey standard.
3. Investigation content: name, citizenship number, gender, age, ethnicity, education level, migration, work, marriage and childbirth, death, housing situation, etc.
4. Investigation time: The standard time of investigation is2021year11moon10 o’clock on the day.On-site working hours are10moon10day-11moon15day.
5. Investigation method: The government statistical investigation agency will send investigators to the households to register, or the households can fill in the report on their own. The investigator shall present the work certificate issued by the statistical agency of the people’s government at or above the county level when registering in the household.
6. According to the “Statistical Law of the People’s Republic of China”, statistical survey objects shall be truthful, accurate, complete and timely provide the data required for national statistical surveys in accordance with the law. All levels of government statistical agencies and their statisticians shall keep the personal information of survey subjects confidential.
7. If local people’s governments at all levels, departments, units and their responsible persons, statistical agencies and statisticians at all levels violate the law in the investigation, they will be held accountable in accordance with the law. If the survey object obstructs the work of statistical agencies and statisticians, and constitutes a violation of public security management, the public security organs will impose penalties in accordance with the law.
