Node of proxies in the Province: first confrontation between Padrin and center-left

On the 30th, the first council for the validation of those elected after last Sunday’s elections

Belluno. First confrontation, yesterday evening, between the elected members of the list of the “Province of the Municipality of Belluno 2030” and Roberto Padrin, confirmed president of the Province of Belluno. The center-left list, which supported Padrin’s reappointment at the top of Palazzo Piloni, elected six councilors. Yesterday the first post-election meeting, to begin to tackle the most delicate issue: the distribution of proxies.

President Padrin, the day after the elections, had declared that the decision on the possibility of extending collaboration to center-right councilors would be taken by the group, in a collegial way. The provincial council is scheduled for December 30 with the validation of the elected officials.

Padrin believes that “in a Province constituted in this way, the more we are the better”, he declared in the analysis of the elections, but he is also aware that the reasoning now becomes political. Not only because he was declared a representative of the center-left, but also because the center-right elected all councilors with the card in their pocket. Two from the Lega, one from Forza Italia and one from Fratelli d’Italia.

The agenda of the board of 30, in reality, does not provide for the communication of proxies. The session, scheduled at 10, will open with the validation of the president and the elected provincial councilors, followed by the oath of the president and the presentation of the government program. Then a series of points related to the budget, the approval of the agreement scheme with the Region on hunting and fishing, the contribution to the Municipality of Agordo for the safety works of the north side of the former mechanical engineering school, to be used as the headquarters of the civil protection, the Alpine Rescue and the Coc and Com room.

The council will continue with the recognition of two off-balance sheet debts for extremely urgent works, the acquisition of properties in the experimental fish center of Tomo, the agreement for the management of the Seravella museum.
