On social media, the No-vax “storm” against the locals in Piazza dei Signori is triggered

The symbolic occupation of the stage of the No vax demonstration by the workers of the premises of the square

Revenge on the table. Authentic slating by Pino and Signore & Signori, guilty of having contested the events that bring down the receipts

TREVISO. The No vax movement responded via the web to the occupation of the stage. A close turn of posts, with an avalanche of negative reviews, especially on “Pino”, but also on “Ladies and gentlemen”, clearly targeted, complete with the rejection of the two clubs. Something never seen before by the owners of the two clubs. This is what specialists call “shitstorm”, or “storm of m …” an authentic bombardment on the net against a subject that is taken as a target.

The No vax are not new to these attacks: they have done so in recent weeks against public places, gyms, but also beauty centers, very strict in letting only green pass holders enter, thus excluding any possibility for those who have not been vaccinated.

Punctual yesterday, the storm hit the two local leaders of the protest. “Never again”, slamming, bad judgments repeatedly launched against the two clubs, minimum ratings (1 star out of 5), often with reviews signed by pseudonyms.

It must be said that some Treviso people responded, and there were also those who “unmasked” the No vax, expressing solidarity with Pino and Signore & Signori. Perhaps by assigning the maximum mark of 5, as a voluntary form of support to try to compensate for the drop in the average of the evaluations, through counter-reviews and counter-comments. An authentic battle all over the web.

The owners and waiters of the two clubs, we recall, had occupied the stage of the No vax, before the start of the event, to contest the concession of the square for yet another demonstration on Saturday. According to exhibitors, the demonstrations cause “very heavy economic damage”. Pino and Signore & Signori had already pointed this out in recent days, with a document sent to the mayor Conte and other institutions asking for the concession of the square to be stopped at the seventh demonstration (especially on Saturday) in six weeks. Document to which Paolo Lai dei Soffioni and Paolo Camata of “Beltrame” also adhered.

How did the two targets react? Pino is calm: “Go ahead, but we remain convinced of our reasons, we are severely penalized in our work after the closure due to a pandemic, it is unacceptable not to be able to work for seven days: people with the demonstrations no longer come and prefer other places”. Luca Marton, of the adjacent Signore & Signori, starts from a precedent: “The case of water to the dog, years ago, made us fall in the last place in six hours, more than 800 negative reviews started against us: we are used to He replies. “The truth is that when there are demonstrations we lose over 90% of business, and on days like Saturday the damage doubles.”
