Nanjing Communications Promotes Traditional Chinese Culture with Lantern Festival Activities
China Jiangsu Net reported on February 23 that Nanjing Communications is taking steps to promote excellent traditional Chinese culture in the community. The goal is to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of residents and create a warm, harmonious, and interesting festival atmosphere.
Recently, the Party Committee, Youth League Committee, Related Work Committee, Women’s Federation, Trade Union, Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Veterans Service Station of Hongxing Community, Wenfeng Street, Chongchuan District came together to organize the “Love Lantern Festival Warm Community Feelings” and “Online China Festival·Lantern Festival” activities.
The “Love Lantern Festival Warm Community Feelings” event was a success, with old party members participating in theoretical lectures that focused on “Lantern” cultural science popularization and folk New Year picture exhibitions. Volunteers also prepared glutinous rice dumplings for everyone to enjoy. The event fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among participants.
Retired military volunteers also made a heartwarming gesture by delivering delicious glutinous rice balls to the fire service station in the jurisdiction, spreading holiday cheer and bringing the community closer together. The event featured colorful lantern riddles on various themes, providing entertainment and enjoyment for all participants.
Participants praised the event for its format and festive atmosphere, with Aunt Zhang expressing happiness after successfully guessing a lantern riddle. Moving forward, Red Star Community plans to continue organizing cultural activities and utilizing traditional festivals to strengthen community bonds and promote harmony.
