Party for the thirty years of Osai di Parella: “The community is a value”

The company was founded in 1991 by Carlo Ferrero. For the thirtieth anniversary, everyone – the president Mirella Ferrero, sister of the founder and the employees – met in the areas where the plant is located

PARELLA A celebration for the first thirty years of Osai, the company that designs and manufactures machines and complete lines for automation and testing on semiconductors. Osai has its operational headquarters in Parella and employs 205 people. It operates mainly in five divisions and has a network of 40 distributors around the world, with over 50 local staff and three commercial branches (in the USA, Germany and China).

The company was founded in 1991 by Carlo Ferrero. For the thirtieth anniversary, everyone – the president Mirella Ferrero, sister of the founder and the employees – gathered in the areas where the plant is located. The party-event also saw the setting up of play areas for children and teenagers and moments of entertainment. The production plants, which are located in an old paper mill, were visited by about 400 people. In the areas adjacent to the establishments, food stands were set up with typical products and in the evening dj d Dula (Paolo Benvenuto) intervened for a moment dedicated to music and dance.

We thank all those who intervened by sharing this important anniversary. Osai cannot forget its origins: it will always be a large family, born in the garage of a small town, in which to find opportunities to pursue future life projects, through work ».

Over the years, the company explains, Osai has always been committed to contributing to the quality of life in its territory and to the socio-economic development of the community in which it operates, through social inclusion initiatives, including the Atlantide project and the Molly project, the refurbishment project of the Olivetti factories and the non-profit association Carlo Ferrero, through which projects to support disability are promoted.

The party for Osai’s thirtieth anniversary was a moment that involved everyone and remembered what the company defines as its founding principles: the centrality of the person, the sense of belonging to a community and the concept of the group. –
