Pedavena, the dean of the Conventual friars turns 102 years old

Originally from Tuenno in Val di Non in Trentino, Father Ilario Moretti has lived in the Santa Maria Gloriosa house since 2010. Friar since 1942, he has long taught Greek and Latin in the seminaries of the Friars Minor Conventual, living in various convents in Trentino, Veneto and Lombardy.

PEDAVENA. Despite being a frail elderly person and as such welcomed in the Santa Maria Gloriosa reception structure of the Kolbe complex, Father Ilario Moretti has just celebrated his 102 years of age. He is the oldest friar in the entire Order of Friars Minor Conventual. “Happy birthday to our dear father Ilario. May the Lord always dwell in his heart and illuminate all his days ”, says the card prepared for him, and accompanied by the best wishes of all the staff, volunteers, family members and Franciscan confreres.

Double greetings, given that January 13 is also Saint Hilary: the birthday therefore coincides with the name day.
