Colombian President Gustavo Petro has declared that the South African legal team that has filed a genocide complaint against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would deserve the Nobel Peace Prize.
This statement is made with several months remaining before the assignment of these recognitions is chosen:
“If anyone deserved the Nobel Peace Prize today, it would be the South African legal team that has filed a complaint against Netanyahu for genocide in defense of the Palestinian people,” Petro wrote on his “X” account, formerly Twitter.
