The decision to resign is mine alone, it was not forced by anyone, indeed they did not want to accept them but I demanded them », he concludes.
There is talk of an internal split between the workers: there are only about fifteen dockers still in favor of the strike that began last Friday. Much less than the dozens who initially had supported the battle led by Stefano Puzzer, the spokesperson of the CLPT union who today resigned precisely following the internal split, with the toughest “fringe” that did not like the position of Puzzer and, even with threats, they convinced him to turn around. “If we are so few we can’t stop the port. Then it makes no sense, we can’t stay without a salary for so many days”, explained a docker to a representative of the no vax who invited him to continue the protest “until abolition of the green pass decree “

This morning Puzzer explained to the demonstrators at the port of Trieste, explaining the reasons that led him to resign: “I am not the god of anyone, only one who speaks because perhaps he knows how to speak better than others, because he is less shy than others, but this fight against the decree belongs to all port workers, to all Italian workers ».
The chaos was generated by the communiqué published yesterday evening around 20 by the Coordination from the committee which announced the end of the block and the resumption of work. “We won this first battle, – it read – demonstrating the strength and determination of the port workers and all those who supported and supported them in the defense of democracy and individual freedom”, but it is necessary “to take a step forward together with the thousands of people and groups with whom we have come into contact in these days », therefore« from tomorrow we return to work – who can – but we do not stop ».
But after a few hours the turnaround, wanted, as explained this morning, by Puzzer. “The garrison continues and does not give up,” he wrote around midnight on his social profiles. «The press release was misinterpreted – reads the post – The garrison absolutely does not give up. The first battle won, according to the workers, was the reception in the Senate of a delegation of workers on October 30, “to assert the reasons of those who ask for the abolition of the Green Pass to work”.
