Felix Budenhofer came, spoke and won. The student from the Welser Brucknergymnasium won the AHS foreign language competition in French, which took place on Monday and Tuesday at the WIFI Linz.
The linguistic talent was able to inspire the jury in the first round with his comments on Francophonie (which refers to all people and countries that speak French or in which French is an official or important language).
In the final, Felix scored points after a passionate plea for the French language in the role play, in which he had to plan a trip to a Francophone country together with the other two finalists. With his specialist knowledge and eloquence, the 7th grade language student finally convinced the jury, who named him the national winner.
Federal competition in the embassy
The linguistic talent thus qualified for the national competition, which will take place on April 12th at the French Embassy in Vienna. On May 23rd, the national winners of the individual competitions will be honored in the Redoutensaal in Linz.
