The Fourth Plenary Session of the 13th Changzhou Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China was held on February 7, 2024, and the outcomes of the meeting have been established. During the session, various key topics were discussed, including the implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
Municipal Party Committee Secretary Chen Jinhu delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the party’s self-revolution. The session reviewed and summarized the city’s discipline inspection and supervision work in 2023 and studied and deployed key tasks for 2024.
The plenary session unanimously agreed that General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech provided a fundamental guideline for the party and discipline inspection and supervision work. It also made strategic arrangements for continuous efforts and in-depth advancement of the anti-corruption struggle.
The session also emphasized the need to focus on deepening the results of thematic education, eradicating the soil and conditions that breed corruption, and strengthening the dams of the eight central regulations, among other key areas of focus for 2024.
