Dick Dudley was a seventeenth-century con man. Among his many victims was the pope. Dudley had offered him for sale an item he claimed was a relic: a piece of the beard of St Peter, the founder of the Roman Catholic Church. The Pope paid a small fortune for that treasure and kissed it often. Only later would the truth emerge: the so-called beard was actually a prostitute’s pubic wig. Don’t get involved in such scams, Pisces. Make sure the goods or services you receive and offer are exactly what they should be.
