Michela Caiada, in the city council since November 2019 after taking over from the councilor Fedele Roberto Ceol, accepted the challenge to continue the administrative action carried out in these five years by the mayor Mirco Badole.

The current mayor has long announced that he had no intention of re-running due to too many commitments related to the position of senator of the League in parliament, but confirmed that, together with the current deputy mayor Gianpietro Frescura, he will act as a hen to support the candidate and the rest of the list.

“I am very satisfied with our candidate for mayor, who has shown determination in proposing herself and in taking on the task of carrying out the center-right ideals that animate the civic list. She has been one of my right arms in recent years and she is the right person “, explains Badole, who underlines another aspect:” The list is composing itself and it is nice to see that there is an important rejuvenation with a lowering of age average. Maybe fresh and new ideas. We are ready”.

Michela Caiada is 32 years old and is a bus driver for a private company, she has a partner and a son. She has a recent past as a football player and a great desire to get involved, knowing that she represents a team with which she has already worked in recent years: “Unfortunately, a lot of time has been lost between Vaia and the pandemic”, says the candidate for mayor, “and not everything was done in mind when Badole was elected. But the ideas are clear and we are working to prepare the program for the next five years. The desire to do is there ».

The list is also being composed: “A few boxes are still missing but we are well advanced and if there are no hitches we will be able to present it within the first ten days of May”, adds Badole, who will be on the list as a city councilor: “I do not intend to give up the team that has accompanied me in these five years and I hope that my experience can be of help to carry on the program we have in mind for San Gregorio nelle Alpi. Who knows that during the election campaign I will not be able to bring President Zaia back here from us. The other time he did well. Surely there will also be a couple of public evenings to expose citizens to our ideas that are inspired by the values ​​of the center-right ».
