CAGLIARI. The anti-Covid vaccination campaign in Sardinia opens to the administration of the third dose for citizens over 16. From today, Monday 27 December, those born between 2004 and 2006 who have already turned sixteen can book the ‘booster’ dose in the hubs and at the vaccination points of the island through the Poste Italiane platform: via the web on the booking portal.vaccinicovid.gov.it or through the ATMs of the Poste, postmen or the toll-free number 800 00 99 66 (active every day from 8.00 to 20.00).
The provision, contained in a note signed by the regional health councilor, Mario Nieddu, also gives indications for the administration of the third dose also to citizens over 12 who are among the highly frail subjects. Young people born between 2006 and 2009 who are already twelve years old and fall within the ‘Category 1 – high fragility’ (extremely vulnerable people; severe disability) as defined by the Ministry of Health and by the indications contained in the document available on www. sardegnasalute.it, will be contacted for the administration of the third dose directly from the centers in Sardinia that treat them.
