Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Involved in Serious Accident During Traffic Stop on I-40
Last Thursday, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper, Jesse Gregory, was involved in a serious accident during a traffic stop near Interstate-40. The trooper was speaking with a driver when another vehicle collided with them, causing significant damage to both vehicles.
Footage from the dashboard camera shows Trooper Gregory conducting the traffic stop when the vehicle that crashed into them comes from behind, throwing the officer to the side. The impact of the collision caused serious damage to both vehicles, but fortunately, all three people involved, including Officer Gregory, survived and are expected to recover. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that all were “treated and released” following the incident.
