The Minister of Justice and Security, Gustavo Villatoro, reported on the capture of René Antonio Pimentel Aristondo, who is accused of the crime of aggravated homicide.
According to the authority, the detainee would have murdered a 79-year-old woman, “he took advantage of the trust he had with the victim and took her life by strangling her and, later, threw her into a pile to pretend that it was an accidental death.” Villatoro said.
Likewise, the head of Justice and Security explained that the deceased had a bank account of more than $60,000 and assets. “After the capture, the victim’s notebooks and bank cards were seized from this criminal.”
«We have said it before, no murderer has a place in our society, we are going to pursue them and bring them to justice. The State and the lives of Salvadorans are respected,” said Villatoro.
This arrest was carried out as part of the intelligence and investigation work of the National Civil Police (PNC). “Know that we are going to use all the resources of the State so that no act of blood goes unpunished and anyone who attacks the lives of our population will end the rest of their days in prison, without seeing the light of the sun.” », he emphasized.
