T. Swift donates $100,000 to victim’s family

Country music superstar Taylor Swift has made a generous donation of $100,000 to the family of Lisa López-Galván, the victim of the recent shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade.

The 43-year-old radio host was tragically killed during the celebration, leaving behind her husband, son, and a community that adored her. Swift’s donation, made through two separate $50,000 contributions on a GoFundMe page, was confirmed by her representative and independently verified by The Associated Press.

In a heartfelt message accompanying the donations, Swift expressed her deepest condolences to the family, saying, “I send you my deepest condolences and condolences following your devastating loss. Love, Taylor Swift.”

López-Galván, known as Lisa G, was a beloved figure in the Kansas City community, hosting a popular radio show and being one of the few Latina DJs in the area. The GoFundMe page set up for her family has already amassed over $200,000 in donations, demonstrating the outpouring of support from the community.

The shooting at the parade also left 22 others injured, including several children. While investigators are still working to identify those responsible, the incident is believed to have stemmed from a dispute. Two minors are in custody, and the authorities are determining if there are others involved.

Swift, who is currently in Australia for her Eras Tour, was not present at the parade. However, she has a close connection to the Chiefs as she is dating tight end Travis Kelce, who was also at the Super Bowl. The Chiefs have confirmed that all players, coaches, staff, and their families are safe and accounted for after the shooting.
