Xiao brown dragon, also known as red-clothed, is small in size and has a very different color between males and females. It is a beautiful species of male red and yellow. The male Xiao brown dragonfly has transparent wings, vermilion red, and brighter body color.
Xiao He only showed her sharp horns, and a dragonfly had already stood on her head. The best time to observe dragonflies is spring and summer. When the air pressure is low, dragonflies fly low to the ground. The low-flying dawn brown dragonfly is the most attractive scenery in summer.
What kind of ecological environment does Xiao brown dragon like?
It is usually found in lowland and hilly areas, near overgrown ponds, swamps, channels, slow-moving streams, and rivers. Mosquitoes, flies, leafhoppers, etc. that they like to eat frequently appear in these places, especially mosquitoes, which are very appetizing to the red dragonfly, so humans give the red dragonfly the title of “mosquito-killing expert”.

Dawn brown dragonfly often lays eggs in water or on aquatic plants. Larvae are aquatic and climb out of the water when mature.
