43 miners lost their lives and 10 workers were injured in the mine disaster that took place in the Amasra district of Bartın, on October 14, 2022, at the Amasra Institution of Turkish Hard Coal Institution. 24 people were detained within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Amasra Public Prosecutor’s Office.
