The management of the cemeteries for another three years at the Veneto Social Coop

by admin

FELTRE

The contract was awarded for the execution of the cemetery operations of the thirteen Feltre cemeteries for the next three years. It was awarded to the Caldiero non-profit social cooperative Veneta, the same to which the service was entrusted in 2020, which was followed by the renewal for 2021. Now the Municipality has decided to consolidate the contract until 2024. It started from a base of 50 thousand euros plus annual VAT (plus another 50 thousand for the possible renewal of a further year).

A lower figure than in recent years, because after the outsourcing in 2016 of all those processes that the municipal machine was no longer able to perform on its own due to a lack of personnel, this year the Municipality has returned to carry out with its workers cleaning and caring for the internal and external areas of the cemeteries. In external hands remain the custody of the structures, from the offices to the mortuary cells, assistance with the arrival of the coffins in the cemetery and at the funeral, taking care of behavior and clothing, the execution of burials and exhumations, the collection and storage of cemetery waste in the bins outside the cemetery areas.

Coop sociale Veneta will continue to deal with all this for the next three years, offering a 5.5 percent discount on the auction-based price list, corresponding to € 47,277 per year plus VAT inclusive of € 500 safety charges not subject to reduction. The extended period of assignment, in the objectives of the administration, will give the company time to carry out an optimized management and will be renewable for a further year. –
