The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories, the preacher of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, praised the continuous work of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif Agency, the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee, headed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him.

A statement from Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif Agency explained that His Eminence the Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, during his recent meeting in Rabat, appreciated the director in charge of running the agency, Muhammad Salem Al-Sharqawi, for what the Kingdom of Morocco, the king, government and people, provides for the benefit of the Palestinian people, noting the ties and relations between the Palestinian and Moroccan peoples. The city of Jerusalem in particular.

The communication added that during this meeting, His Eminence the Mufti listened to an explanation about the major humanitarian aid campaign directed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Palestinians in Gaza and Jerusalem, coinciding with the month of Ramadan.

The same source indicated that during the meeting, Mr. Al-Sharqawi reviewed the broad outlines of the agency’s work program for the year 2024, the achievements made by the institution, and the services it provides to the Palestinian people, to support their steadfastness and steadfastness.

For his part, His Eminence the Mufti Sheikh Muhammad Hussein briefed Mr. Al-Sharqawi on the difficult conditions experienced by the Palestinian people in general, and the violations and practices carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities against Palestinian sanctities, most notably the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular.
