The defense of Pitalito’s representative argued that the disciplined person did not know the facts constituting the offense due to his professional dedication in the area of private law and his lack of experience in public matters, this being his first time as a municipal representative. However, the Attorney General’s Office considered that his behavior was voluntary and intentional, classifying the offense as very serious.
“The Attorney General’s Office distorted the arguments of the defense who stated that “the disciplined person did not know the facts constituting the offense because his professional dedication has been in the area of private law and not public law, as well as his experience in private law and is his first time as municipal representative.”
The fault of Reyes Liscano was classified as very serious as a result of fraud because it was considered that his behavior was voluntary,” said the Office of the Attorney General.
