A 16-year-old boy was arrested after opening fire at a party in Sanford, Florida, early Sunday morning. The incident left at least ten people wounded, according to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting occurred at Cabana Live, a venue and restaurant in Sanford, where a private party was being held. The teenager reportedly got into a verbal altercation that escalated into gunfire.
Deputies arrived at the scene to find the crowd dispersing after hearing multiple gunshots. The shooter was quickly apprehended with the help of the venue’s security personnel.
Fortunately, all of the victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, mainly to their lower extremities. The Sheriff’s Office confirmed that they are in stable condition.
