On December 22, Xiaoqiang (pseudonym), a student of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, was transferred to Xi’an Chest Hospital for isolation treatment after he was diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia.
Xiaoqiang is a graduate student exam candidate. After admission, he was depressed and nervous. Under the patient guidance of Deputy Director Xing Xiaoming and Doctor Li Yu, he slowly relaxed and actively prepared for the exam.
On the evening of December 24, the hospital fully cooperated with the education department in accordance with the requirements of the superiors, and specially coordinated to set up an examination room in the ward that had been vacated and disinfected and had not yet received patients. Video surveillance is set up in the examination room, and the staff of the education department will remotely guide the on-site medical staff to complete the whole process of invigilating the examination.
On the morning of December 25, Xiaoqiang took the exam accompanied by nurses Xu Yuange and Xie Xiaoyou.
After the exam is over, the medical staff will also disinfect the test paper and the test site, sample the test paper, and send it out immediately after the sampling result meets the sending conditions.
According to Director Gu Xing, Xiaoqiang is a mild case of new coronary pneumonia and is currently in a stable condition. The hospital will closely monitor the patient’s physical signs to help him recover quickly.
