The bill with the support measures for the Aosta Valley economy must be included on the agenda of the Valle Council
AOSTA. The package of measures to support the economy hit by the consequences of the health emergency was approved today by the regional council. The anti-crisis measures, for a total of 80 million euros, are contained in the 2021 budget adjustment bill.
The text of the law will be sent as a matter of urgency to the Permanent Council of Local Authorities in order to reach the Regional Council, already convened tomorrow and Thursday.
The provision is “widely shared between the political forces of the majority and opposition and agreed with Chambre valdôtaine, social partners and local authorities”, reads a note from the regional building. «The interventions are manifold: from the bonus for VAT numbers, to investment contributions, to allowances for workers who have suffered loss of income due to the emergency. In addition, 27.6 million euros are allocated to the extraordinary financing of regional health expenditure to cope with the epidemiological emergency from Covid-19. An additional budget of € 3 million is foreseen for the upgrading of services in primary and secondary education. Finally, 15 million are destined to compensate for lower revenues in order to ensure the balance of the regional budget ”.
