Around 50,000 patients every year have their teeth checked, sealed, ripped or straightened not by established dentists, but at the ÖGK dental health center. This corresponds to around 182,000 treatments per year. The center is open to insured people from all health insurance companies and offers all the usual services, including crowns, implants and oral hygiene, according to its own statement, “at a socially acceptable price”. According to ÖGK, many patients are regular patients.
