Three boys try to steal the offerings in the church and in their haste they drop and break the wooden crucifix

Three people – two boys and a girl who initially served as a “stake” – entered the church to grab the offerings. But they were caught on surveillance cameras

LIGNANO. They entered the church of Pineta trying to steal the offerings in the boxes. Then, in the frantic search for the keys – which according to them had been hidden somewhere inside the building – they moved and lifted the wooden crucifix which then fell to the ground, damaging itself in several places.

The incident happened on Thursday morning, shortly after 7.30.
