From 15 June also in the Grand Stations circuit of the 14 main Italian cities and in the network of ports and airports

CAGLIARI. From today on Rai networks and on the Raiplay channel, in the next few days on Mediaset and from 15 June on the Grand Stations circuit of the 14 main Italian cities and in the network of ports and airports. It is the 25-second video “Sardegna Sicuri di Sognare”, accompanied by the voice of the famous voice actor and actor Luca Ward, which kicks off the 2021 campaign for the tourism promotion of the island, presented today by the governor Christian Solinas, by the councilor of the Turismo Gianni Chessa and by Ward himself. To facilitate international dissemination, translation into English, French and German is envisaged. The concept of the video revolves around the claim “Sure di Sognare”, the heart of a narrative of the island as a dream destination and a place to free oneself from the tensions and constraints of the pandemic era, where to find a safe dimension of authenticity and beauty. In a few seconds, Ward’s voice and the images tell of a multifaceted identity made up of centuries-old monuments, breathtaking landscapes and unique traditions. And starting from July, in collaboration with the Customs Agency, three other commercials will be broadcast on Sardinia, this time to raise awareness on respect for the environment and in particular to combat the phenomenon of the theft of sand and shells from the beaches of the island. Exceptional testimonials Caterina Murino, Geppi Cucciari and Luigi Datome.

“We were interested in giving a clear message in terms of security linked to hospitality, an innovative and unitary message addressed to Italy and abroad, considering that we are also aiming to reach Russia, the United States and the Arabian Peninsula”, underlines Solinas about the video narrated by Ward. “The campaign – explains the Sardinian governor – is not starting late because we aim to cover the shoulder months: September, October, November and December, since it is well established that tourists will arrive in the summer months”. Chessa specifies that “the film is deliberately short because it must be effective, it is an invitation to take up our life and return to normal”. The spot, according to Ward, “is very beautiful because the only testimonial is Sardinia, a wonderful land loved all over the world“. The video was made by a Sardinian company, Relive Communication, an expert in video making and digital marketing productions. The director is Andrea Iannelli, creative director Massimo Moi, both Sardinians. (HANDLE).
