Accreditation; delays in payments, delays in new notices, due to which many users cannot take advantage of free training services.

These are the main critical issues of the training sector in Abruzzo, according to Cenfop, a national trade association representing professional training institutions, which requested an urgent meeting with the President of the Region, Marco Marsilio, to “represent the difficult situation we are experiencing in the sector of active labor policies and in particular training”.

“The critical issues of the regional training system – states the association – objectively deserve priority attention in this phase of the start of the new legislature. Spending on training is an investment in human capital which takes on particular importance in Abruzzo, given that the The regional production system is in a restructuring phase and needs to make a paradigm shift towards sectors with greater added value and higher productivity”.

Recalling the “intense discussion” and the “good availability for dialogue” of the offices of the department of the past Council, “without however achieving the objectives set in mutual and convergent interest”, Cenfop speaks of “critical situations that need to be resolved urgently through a close institutional discussion to be started immediately”, because “the failure to resolve these long-standing problems has already created serious difficulties for the system”.

“We believe it is appropriate and necessary – states the president of the Abruzzo association, Nazareno Padovani – to request an urgent discussion with the president of the Region Marco Marsilio and the future new councilor who will be appointed this week, with the ultimate aim of finding immediate solutions and then continuing a fruitful discussion with the new department and with the competent sector offices”.
