The Colombian National Team of the under-17 category He continues to get ready for his participation in the South American Championship that will be held from March 13 to 31 in Paraguay.
In that context, Coach Carlos Paniagua announced the list of players who will face a new microcycle ahead of the international event.
In the list made up of 23 soccer players, the call of the Vallenato midfielder R stands outeina Sofia Torres, who will participate in the 2024 Women’s League wearing the Millonarios shirt.
The Vallenata midfielder had her professional opportunity with ‘the Ambassadors’ the previous year and in the Women’s League she played nine games, two of them playing 90 minutes and although she did not score goals she was a constant companion for her teammates in attack.
Thanks to her performance, she has received several calls to join the microcycles with the tricolor team, also competing in the International Friendly tournament where she was proclaimed champion with the national team.
The microcycle will officially begin tomorrow in the city of Bogotá and will last until the 13th of the current month. On the 14th the tricolor will move to the city of Montevideo, Uruguay, to play two friendly games against the local team.
