A friendly match against Freiburg is also scheduled
The Varese basketball team will also be in training camp in Valle d’Aosta this year from 23 to 28 August. The red and white will stay in Gressoney-La-Trinité in the week from 23 to 28 August and will train at the Sport Haus in Gressoney-Saint-Jean. The team will face Freiburg in a friendly match on Saturday.
“It is a source of great satisfaction for us that Varese Basketball has chosen our region to perfect its preparation in view of the start of the next Serie A national championship”, comments the regional councilor for Tourism and Sport. “That a noble team like the red and white one has decided to carry out its summer retreat in Gressoney, a town with important sports infrastructures, attests to the vocation of our region as a welcoming place for high-level competitive sports“.
