Villas in Stella Maris and a condominium in the Boscariz area

It is the working hypothesis between the Municipality and the bankruptcy trustee The current dilapidated complex would be razed to the ground

The building complex is in an advanced state of decay, also subject to abusive raids by young people who have cut the fence near the gate and broke down some entrance doors, thus risking security. And then the hypothesis could be to demolish the dilapidated and vandalized building of the former colony of Stella Maris with its crumpled sheets on the roof, to make room for a dozen brand new homes, relaunching the residency in a prestigious area . There would then remain of the urban volume available, because the volume that is not exploited would be transferred elsewhere, in particular to Boscariz, where a condominium was built.

This is the idea on the table of the mediation between the bankruptcy trustee and the Municipality, after the judicial auctions that have taken place over the years have not stirred anyone’s interest. All to be decided, of course, because what can be done in that building will be decided by the Intervention Plan. In the meantime, however, the ground is being prepared, in terms of urban planning, to change the intended use of the Stella Maris building in order to give a wider range of possibilities for using that area to a potential investor.

Yesterday the variant to the Pat (Territorial Planning Plan) was approved in the city council, which in itself concerns a technicality – because it is the transposition of a perimeter from the Ato (Homogeneous territorial scope) number 7 to Ato 9, object of the drafting of the Intervention Plan – but the meaning will be given to it later.

The councilors discussed it in the classroom after leaving space at the opening for the Respira Feltre committee, which unexpectedly showed up at the town hall to distribute a leaflet on the issue of the disputed emissions from the Hydro plant.

NEW HOPE FOR STELLA MARIS

The administration is drafting the variant to the Intervention Plan which affects the entire urban area of the city center and which redefines the future development of the built fabric, services, mobility and the green and ecological network. This now includes the Stella Maris complex. The center-right councilor Ennio Trento, however, fears a lengthening of the time required for the approval of the city’s plan of interventions: «The process becomes heavier, because the Stella Maris area has a higher degree of environmental protection. I would not like this variation to lengthen the investigation ».

Mayor Perenzin reassured him, but the minority remained skeptical, highlighting him in the vote with five abstentions (Balen, Debortoli, Capuano, Forlin and Vettoretto) and Trento against. On the part of the majority, the councilor Giovanni Pelosio speaks of a change “with a view to urban regeneration, in a prestigious area that will give citizens the opportunity to regain possession of that area”. For Mauro Fantinel, «instead of continuing to say that something should be done, now we are doing something».

committee breathes feltre

A group of members of the committee waited for the directors at the entrance to the council chamber to hand them a flyer in which the concern was reiterated about the deadlock in the negotiations between the Municipality and Hydro on the issue of emissions controls at the historic plant in via Monte Grappa . The contact person, Davide De Martini Bonan, was then allowed to speak at the beginning of the session. The request is to meet the administration as soon as possible to be updated on the matter. –
