War in Ukraine, faster permits: the Interior Ministry’s plan to reunite families

The wave of Ukrainian refugees will reach Europe, we only need to establish how high it will be and how long it will last. The German media are optimistic and predict the expatriation of 200,000 people, the US ambassador to the UN, on the other hand, speaks of biblical exodus figures: as many as 5 million human beings fleeing the war in the coming weeks. The forecasts of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees do not differ much, “up to 4 million if the situation worsens”.
