19-year-old Hao Liyun from the Henan team made headlines on February 18, as she clinched the women’s gold medal in the “Fourteenth Winter” freestyle skiing and snow skills open category. The event, held in the Zhalantun Division of Hulunbuir City, saw Liyun finish with a winning score of 61.80 after three rounds of intense competition.
Liyun’s victory came after a tough battle with fellow competitors Yang Ya from the Heilongjiang team and Cao Tianqing, also from the Henan team, who finished in second and third place respectively.
