A six-year-old boy died this morning and his 47-year-old mother was seriously injured in the explosion and subsequent fire at a house in Granada that forced the eviction of 40 residents, already back in their homes, they have informed EFE the Local Police and the emergency coordination center.
The events occurred on the third floor of a residential block on Circunvalación Encina street, in the La Chana neighborhood, at around 3:15 a.m., for reasons that are being investigated, although the first indications point to a gas burner on. in the kitchen, which was near the terrace of the damaged property.
The event has caused the death of a six-year-old boy and the evacuation of his 47-year-old mother, with a serious prognosis after being injured with burns all over her body, while an elderly person has also been evacuated in prevention to a hospital center and has assisted an agent on the scene for burns on one hand.
