An athletic trainer in New Zealand has been banned for ten years for inappropriate behaviour

McColl, who led Eliza McCartney to Olympic bronze in 2016, was suspended by the New Zealand Athletics Association last month. The investigation found he had repeatedly transgressed during training, via social media and text messages.

The union said McColl cooperated with the investigation and offered to resign after the results were released. He also apologized for his behavior.
