UDINE. On Friday the soft test with Cjarlins Muzane finished 4-0, on Saturday 7 August the general tests of Serie A with Empoli in Abano Terme (kick-off at 6pm). Udinese is experiencing intense days, no less than those of its managers working on the transfer market to reinforce a team that is still incomplete (a defender, a midfielder, a winger and a first striker).
The one with Cjarlins Muzane was an opportunity to witness the Italian baptism of Lazar Samardzic, the 19-year-old German talent that Gino Pozzo bought from Leipzig for 3 million.
Gotti deployed him from the right midfielder in the usual 3-5-2 in a median completed by Jajalo and Arslan. Luca Gotti’s are not definitive choices, but in the meantime today the attacking couple should be composed of Pussetto and Cristo Gonzalez who remained yesterday on the bench together with Stryger Larsen and Molina who should make their seasonal debut with Empoli. They weren’t even on the bench Becao, Nuytinck, Udogie and Deulofeu. Of the four, the one who will surely be on the pitch today from the start is the former Veronese.
