On August 6, in the Tokyo Olympic track and field competition, three Chinese athletes participated in the race. Wang Qin, a Shaanxi born post-90s boy, successfully completed the men’s 50-kilometer race walking.Won the 21st place with 3:59:35.

Ni Jie, his coach when he was studying at the Baoji Sports School, recalled that Wang Qin first practiced sprinting, and later practiced middle and long-distance running. He did not change to race walking until 2010. In November 2011, he was recommended to the Provincial Athletics Management Center, 2015. Entering the national race walking team in 2010 and entering the national team from a beginner in four and a half years shows that he has good self-control ability and strong plasticity.
