Juve in the Italian Cup final, Bernardeschi and Danilo knock out Fiorentina

TURIN. Juventus still beat Fiorentina 2-0 in the second leg of the Italian Cup and gave themselves the grand final on 11 May in Rome against Inter, a remake of the January Super Cup match won by the Nerazzurri. At the Allianz Stadium they decide a goal from the former Bernardeschi and the seal of Danilo, at the end of a match played with a lot of character and personality by Vincenzo Italiano’s team. Max Allegri’s men also hit a post and had a goal canceled by the Var for offside, but they still took a good success to leave behind the negative draw with Bologna in the league.

Three minutes on the clock and the first episode of the match arrives, with Perin coming out badly on a high ball leaving Torreira the chance to hit the net, but on the goal line he sensationally rejects his teammate Cabral, in an offside position. The bianconeri react after the bugbear and in the 13th minute they engage Dragowski with Vlahovic, then find the advantage in the 32nd minute thanks to the other former on duty Bernardeschi: the purple goalkeeper comes out badly on a cross from Morata, the ball reaches the Juventus number 20 who controls on the fly and lefty overcomes it with a soft touch. However, Viola remains alive and in the 41st minute comes back to be seen dangerously with Cabral, who focuses on the right, calling Perin to a good save.

The Juventus goalkeeper is also good at the beginning of the second half on a header from Quarta deflected by De Ligt, while on the other side Zakaria nearly doubled by hitting the outside of the intersection of the posts. Doubling that Juve would still find in the 69th minute, were it not for an offside by Rabiot on Bernardeschi’s fine pass: the Frenchman’s goal is canceled with the intervention of the Var. hope, but in the recovery Danilo thinks about definitively closing the accounts on an assist from Cuadrado.
