The web magazine L Football was awarded “Best Women’s Football News Publication” at the 2023 European Enterprise Awards.

The award, given by the EU Business News magazine, selected the Italian project L Football which has dedicated passion and commitment to women’s football for over 11 years.

The European Enterprise Awards, born six years ago, represent a reliable guide for leading companies operating in the European market. Through a meticulous and broadest possible screening, the excellences in Europe are selected in different fields and sectors on the basis of merit, the quality of the service and the role they occupy within a community.

In the field of media covering women’s football EU Business News chose L Football.

Giuseppe Berardi, founder and publisher of L Football declared: “This is a recognition that makes us very proud. I thank EU Business News for first selecting us among many media and subsequently awarding us as the best news site in Europe on women’s football. For us this award is important because, since the birth of L Football, quality has always been at the center of the project. We wanted to contribute to the growth and visibility of this sport and become a point of reference. It is precisely these recognitions that confirm that we are on the right path. We have done and given a lot to this movement and we certainly don’t want to stop here. We are increasingly convinced that the future of football is women! I dedicate this award to the LF team, the current one but also to the people who have collaborated with us in the past, but above all to our readers, be they players, professionals, fans or enthusiasts”.

The director of L Football Tiziana Pikler added: “For this recognition, on the one hand, my personal thanks go to our entire work team, to the football institutions, to the clubs, to the players, to the coaches and to the professionals who, by collaborating with us, they allowed us to communicate with a clear understanding of our primary objective: the knowledge, and therefore the development, of women’s football. On the other hand, I am sure that this award will be a further incentive to do even more and better, not only to talk about the football played by girls but above all to implement all those initiatives that we have in the pipeline to grow this movement and the attention towards of it and its protagonists”
