Lazio, Perugia and Venice: trident of retreats in Cadore

The A team coached by Sarri will arrive in Auronzo between 5 and 6 July. The Umbrians in Pieve from the 9th. The dates of the lagoons in San Vito have yet to be formalized

Lazio in Auronzo, Perugia in Pieve di Cadore and Venice in San Vito. Here it is the trident of professional football that the Cadore area and the entire province of Belluno will field this summer.

Only the dates of the lagoon club are left to confirm, but there is still a year of contract and therefore there are few doubts regarding the presence of the Venetian team. The novelty of the year is Perugia, which have taken the place of Chievo, who have in the meantime disappeared from professional football due to tax debts.

HERE LAZIO

There are now fifteen years of love between Lazio and the town of Auronzo. This year the dates will change a bit, as Serie A starts before August 15th as a result of the long stop between November and December scheduled to make room for the winter world championship in Qatar.

The latest news even speak of an early arrival of the team from Wednesday 6 to Tuesday 5 July, so as to allow Sarri’s boys to train the next day, in the renewed turf of Zandegiacomo.

There could also be several new faces in the squad, and we know how the market always represents an interesting novelty for the fans. Few doubts, for example, on the arrival of Marcos Antonio from Shakhtar, while for example the promising goalkeeper Carnesecchi and the defenders Casale and the newly-shielded Romagnoli are liked.

The Lazio public – and also the Belluno one – then hopes to see all the stars of the team, starting with Milinkovic Savic and passing through Luis Alberto and Immobile. As for friendlies, there are currently four scheduled. Sunday 10 tests against a local amateur representative, then Thursday 14 the opponent will be a Serie D or Excellence team. Then the level rises because on Sunday 17 the biancocelesti will face Serie C Triestina, then on Thursday 21 July there is one of the other two teams hosted in the province: Venice. The retreat will end the next day.

THE TWO OF SERIES B

Officials as mentioned, only the dates of Perugia. The red and white, this year participating in the Serie B playoffs, will arrive in Pieve di Cadore on Saturday 9 July and will restart two weeks later (23 July). The team will stay at the “Al Pelmo” hotel.

Needless to say, the training will be held in Sottocastello and the club has already provided useful information to the fans so that they can enjoy a few relaxing days next to their team. The friendly program will be defined later, also because the Umbrians have not yet made known the name of the new coach: the current one, Alvini, seems destined to go to Serie A at Cremonese.

We were saying, Venice has yet to formalize the schedule. The relegation to B has left its mark and is a phase of restart and reconstruction. For sure on the bench there will be the Croatian Javorcic, for whom only the customary signature is missing. He comes from Sudtirol, which he led to B with a defensive record.
